The conference will be held at Sundvolden hotel, in Sundvollen, Tyrifjorden. Less than 1 hour from Hønefoss and Oslo S, and about 1.5 hours from Gardermoen.
This is a scenic area with fjord and mountains. It’s possible to walk to a nearby viewing point called Kongens utsikt (The King’s View). At Sundvolden hotel, we will have access to a conference hall, hotel rooms, jacuzzi and a gym.
How to get there
If you can, pick a more environmentally friendly option, like the train. Both the Bergen-Oslo and Trondheim-Oslo train ride offer some spectacular views, so it’s a win-win 🙂
From Oslo by bus
Take route 200 from Oslo Bus Terminal (stops at Vika, Lysaker and Sandvika). The bus stop: Sundvollen E16. The bus ride takes 45 – 60 minutes.

Travel with Askeladden airport bus (Platform 36) to Sundvolden hotel. The bus ride takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes.

The train ride takes 5 hours. Take Bergen-Oslo train to train stop Hønefoss and taxi from Hønefoss to Sundvolden Hotel.
